Coca-Cola, Hong Kong
Globally renowned brand Coca-Cola has been in Hong Kong for more than 80 years, and the first bottles of Coca-Cola appeared in Hong Kong in 1928.
In 1948, the Hong Kong soda water plant was authorised by the Coca-Cola company to become a special bottler for Coca-Cola in Hong Kong.
In 1991, a 143-metre-tall bottling plant in Siu Lek Yuen, Sha Tin, officially opened. It is Coca-Cola’s highest bottling plant in the world. In 2000, Coca-Cola continued to provide Hong Kong consumers with a wide variety of beverages, and to develop new, unique flavours. Hong Kong became the first region outside the U.S. market to introduce Coca-Cola With Lemon.
In 2017, Coca-Cola launched its newly renovated headquarters. The new workplace provides staff with an open work environment and it embodies the brand’s image, further strengthening its identity in Hong Kong.
