 1959 POSH's parent company, Sun Hing Steel Furniture, was established by Mr. Martin Yim with a workforce of 4.  1991 COSMOS (CK1), our first system storage was developed and launched with success.  1992 POSH (Project Office de Sun Hing) was set up as a project division in Sun Hing to enter the contract office furniture market.  1993 A number of new products were introduced including the IN series of systems furniture and SL series of desking. |
 1994 More storage products, including Compacta and tambour door filing cabinets were developed.  1995 POSH was incorporated as a limited company and knock-down construction was developed and engineered for easy storage and transportation.  1996 Shifted production base from Hong Kong to Dongguan, China. |
 1997 Developed a new franchise concept in office furniture industry in China and explored to expand into international markets.  1998 Became the 1st office furniture manufacturer in Hong Kong and China to achieve the standards of ISO9001 quality management system.  1999 Entered dealership arrangement with Herman Miller to market its products in Hong Kong and China between 1999 and 2002. |
 2000 Collaborated with PanOffice, a world-renowned Italian company, to manufacture the award-winning Oscar system under license.  2001 Acquired the ownership of CDS from Herman Miller and further developed into CDX desking system.  2002 Became the 1st office furniture manufacturer in Hong Kong and China to achieve the standards of ISO14001 environmental management system. |
 2003 Introduced into the POSH product portfolio a number of designs from Moroso.  2004 Entered the US market with CK4 storage series, an imperial-dimension product developed together with Trendway Corporation.  2005 Mr. Eric Yim, Chairman of the Group was named the Young Industrialist of Hong Kong 2005. |
 2006 "Voted as the Outstanding Enterprise in Office Furniture Industry" by Hong Kong Business.  2007 Collaborated with FANTONI, an Italian company with over 100 years of experience in design and manufacturing, to market its high-end executive furniture in Hong Kong and China.  2008 Formed an international strategic alliance with Herman Miller, Inc. |
 2009 Expanded product portfolio to include Artemide and Magis, two outstanding Italian brands in lighting products and designer furniture, to provide a total "Workplace Lifestyle" solution.  2010 POSH was honored with the prestigious Hong Kong Top Brand Award by Hong Kong Brand Development Council.  2011 POSH and Herman Miller made announcement that the two companies will unite together. |
